Welcome to ilovecake!
I was born to bake cakes. My great-grandmothers baked cakes, my grandmothers baked cakes, and my mom can bake a mean cake, too. As a little girl I loved to bake anything sweet, but cakes had a special place in my heart. I got so excited every birthday to pick out what kind of cake I would have and dreamed of my wedding cake one day (I even almost baked my own wedding cake, but came to my senses!). I began making birthday cakes for friends in college and started ilovecake in 2000 when I moved to Nashville, TN. My passion to make delicious and beautiful cakes grows with each one I create.
